I recognize that for most women these photo shoots can be a vulnerable adventure requiring bravery to step outside of her normal comfort zone. It is so important for me to create an accepting and relaxed environment and to allow time and space for my clients to feel comfortable and safe. Each woman will come to her session with unique needs. I do not expect women to show up knowing how to model or look sexy. I work with each woman in a creative and collaborative process that allows her to highlight her best assets and let her true beauty shine. "Getting boudoir photos taken is something that I never thought I'd do. When asked by a good friend if I'd go with her, that we'd be able to have wine and cheese, I thought, why not? I picked out cute outfits, we got our nails done, did our hair and make-up, and headed over to our appointment with Holly Lees. It was quite nerve-wracking walking into Holly's studio, but Holly immediately made us feel comfortable. She joked with us, looked at our outfits, gave us ideas, and spoke with us about our favorite and least favorite aspects of our bodies. Once we started taking the pictures, it was again very nerve-wracking. It was tough to be seen by friends and Holly in some of the clothes that I was wearing. However, this feeling very quickly changed to a fun, outgoing feeling. We laughed and had a great time posing for the pictures. Having the pictures taken made me feel beautiful. Holly made me and my friends feel like we have something to love and that we should love ourselves. The experience changed my point of view on myself and really helped me to accept my self and my body. When we were nearing the end of our session, I was really wishing we could stay longer and get more pictures taken. I even told my friends that we should come and get this done every year or every few years. The time with Holly is something that I would recommend to any woman of any size or shape.
